Managing Acute and Ongoing Stress

This session is a face to face session, taking place in Wellbeing Rooms, 1.63 First Floor, Large Group Room, Simon Building.

When we are distressed, it is difficult to think rationally and to decide how to help ourselves. We can become overwhelmed and sometimes resort to behaviour which seems helpful in that moment, but can cause other problems later on and in the long-term. This workshop is designed to reduce the negative impact of stress from recent and ongoing events by focusing on three specific emotional regulation techniques.
