Busting Low Mood Behaviour: One Step at a Time

Event details

This session is a Zoom facilitated session. This workshop will close for booking at 12 noon on the day of the session. The Zoom link will be sent out after the workshop is closed.

One-off workshop

Are you experiencing symptoms of low mood such as tiredness, lethargy, loss of interest, loss of motivation and loss of pleasure? Have you noticed you are finding it hard to engage in certain activities, maybe avoiding work or keeping connected to others? Have you found that since recent events you are experiencing low mood for the first time or your low mood has been exacerbated?

When we experience low mood it is not unusual for cycles of low mood to develop whereby the relationship between how we think, feel and behave can become problematic. These cycles are often understandable but they can prevent us from finding alternative healthier ways of being.

This Zoom workshop will be informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. It will help you to gain a better understanding of low mood and what you can do to manage it, using a range of practical strategies and techniques.

This Zoom workshop will provide an opportunity for Q&A for those who wish to engage in the chat as directed by the facilitator. Audio and video functions will be disabled in the event of a large turnout for this workshop. If numbers are small, the use of the audio and video functions may be offered. Further Zoom etiquette will be sent with the meeting link.
