ADHD-Friendly Self-Care Skills

Entry to this course is via Practitioner referral only
This is a 4 week course and attendance at each session is required.
This group is a psychoeducational group with an emphasis on developing skills to help with managing tasks such organisation, prioritisation, timekeeping, and procrastination, and to help with emotional regulation.
It is aimed at students who have or are seeking an ADHD diagnosis or who self-identify as having ADHD and are experiencing problems with executive function and/or emotional regulation which are affecting their well-being.
The group aims to provide a safe and supportive environment in which to:
Learn tools and strategies for managing organisation, time management, prioritisation, focus and concentration, and procrastination.
Learn tools and strategies for managing impulsivity, boredom, and energy management.
Learn options for self-care in relation to diet, exercise, sleep, checking in with emotions and bodily sensations, and avoiding addictive behaviours.
After completion of this group, you will have the option of attending our peer-led Support MOG ( Moving on Group) that meets during term-term, here at the service.
