Almost everyone feels nervous when deadlines approach. Worrying thoughts and the feeling of being overwhelmed at times are probably familiar to most of us. In fact, a certain amount of nervous tension helps us perform to the best of our ability, producing a rush of stress hormones that makes us alert and focused.

However, too much anxiety can block thoughts, create a negative frame of mind, and lead to panic, procrastination, avoidance and poor performance.

These one-off workshops give practical suggestions about how to manage anxiety and will include some simple relaxation techniques to help you stay calm under pressure.
